I’m sure that you are annoyed of those dimpled areas on your thighs, buttocks, hips, arms and probably around your stomach area. Don’t worry, you are not alone in this. We can’t really pinpoint the main reason why one develops cellulite.
Although hormones, diet, lifestyle and genetics are said to promote cellulite, this condition doesn’t just occur to overweight people because a lot of thin ones complain about it too.
There are a lot of treatments and creams available but they can be expensive and probably ineffective. So if you are looking for natural, cheap and effective home remedies, check out this 3-step guide.
1. Dry Brushing
Before you take a shower, brush the affected area with a dry brush with natural bristles. This will open the pores, promote healthy circulation and gets rid of toxins and build-ups that cause cellulite. Do this up to twice a day in upward motion towards the heart. Start from the lowest part of your body going up.
2. Coffee Scrub
Caffeine is an effective ingredient to reduce the appearance of cellulite and the process of scrubbing and exfoliation is good for the skin as it stimulates blood/lymph flow, leaving the skin tight. All you need are coffee grounds and massage to the skin at least 2-3 times a week. If it’s too coarse for you, you can add a little coconut oil or any essential oil of your choice. Let it stay in your skin for a bit before rinsing it off.
3. Apple Cider Vinegar
One of the many benefits of Apple Cider (aside from getting rid of unwanted fats) is its ability to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Mix Apple Cider with 2 parts water and honey to rub on affected areas or try making a body wrap with ACV and water in equal parts. Rub it to the area then wrap it with plastic wrap and warm towel for an hour before rinsing it off.
