4 Effective Ways to Get You Beach-Ready for the Summer

Don’t get me wrong, anybody can wear whatever they want at the beach.  There’s no rule saying that only those people with abs are allowed to wear bikinis or midriff beach attire.

Everyone should love and be confident about the bodies they are in, as long as they live a healthy and happy lifestyle.

But if you really feel self-conscious about that belly pooch and have a number of pool parties and beach vacations planned for the upcoming months, don’t fear because there are a few ways to achieve a flatter stomach before you head off – quickly and naturally.

1. Avoid these types of food and beverages.

Gas causes the stomach to bloat so no matter how many crunches and sit-ups you do, you’ll never achieve a flat tummy if you keep on munching on food and drinks that trigger bloating.  So avoid refined grains, high-fiber food like onions, lentils cauliflower, peas and beans, high-fat foods like chips, cheese and oily dressings, and of course, soda and alcoholic beverages.

2. Add probiotics in your diet.

Whether you take probiotic supplements or eat food that contains probiotics (such as yogurt, kefir, kimchi, sour pickles, sauerkraut or any fermented food), adding this to your diet balances out our “good” and “bad” bacteria to keep our bodies working like they should.  More “good” bacteria in our digestive tract prevent harmful bacteria, which can cause bloating and other digestive problems, from latching on.

3. Sip on raw apple cider vinegar.

Raw apple cider vinegar can help you lose the stomach fat in a number of ways.  It improves gut health, gets rid of excess toxins, improves satiety and helps you eat less.  You can mix this to your beverages, as a salad dressing or mix a tablespoon of ACV diluted with a little water and take it as a “shot” every morning.

4. Drink Green Tea.

Green Tea is a very healthy drink because of its abundance of antioxidants that can do wonders to your health.  One of these antioxidants is catechin, which is known to breakdown fat.  Green Tea is also a natural source of caffeine which can stimulate metabolism.  Together, these antioxidants and caffeine will make it easier for you to blast that pesky tummy fat.

I hope these tips will help you achieve a flatter tummy just in time for your beach-capades.  But remember, wanting to look perfect is one of the biggest thieves of joy.  Don’t let those insecurities stop you from enjoying and having fun at the beach.
